Jane Takes Buster the Cool Stuffed Cow Back to the Zoo

buster.jpgHi everyone, this is Jane from the Stuffed Zoo. Sometimes my weekends can get a little bit hectic, and I must say that Sherbert getting stuck on that roof didn’t do much for my stress level, so I went out to a dance club over the weekend to blow off some steam. I usually go to clubs that play techno music because I love to do the robot, and I can keep my stuffocator with me as part of a costume.

Well, at this particular club, there were a lot of people, and one of them must have brushed against my Stuffocator because one moment I’m in the middle of a crowd, limbs extending and jerking around spastically, and the next thing I know there’s a big stuffed cow in front of me, its expression unreadable behind a thick pair of tinted glasses.

“Mooo.” He said.

“Muu muu?” I asked.

The cow waited about 5 seconds before breaking out into laughter, “No way, those things haven’t been in style since… well, who am I kidding? They’ve never been in style. But what you’re wearing right now suits me fine.”

I was dressed in shiny silver tights and had a tinfoil-covered box over my head with a red light on the top so I would look more robotic. “Good, I like my outfit too.” The cow looked a bit shady, so I decided to play it safe. “What are you doing here, anyway?”

“I’m doin’ what every respectable stuffed cow’s doin’ out past midnight; I’m lookin’ for some love, honey.”

“I’m afraid I need to get back home,” I said. “I shouldn’t be here.”

“Yeah, you know you shouldn’t be here, but that’s what makes it all the more interesting, doesn’t it? Come on,” he said. “Show this cow some of your funky robot moves.”

I had to admit that he may have been a stuffed bovine, but he certainly was charming. I started to move like a robot, and all of a sudden , techno music began to play, and two more stuffed cows came out of the mist to dance alongside me. It was amazing!

After the dancing was over, I asked the stuffed cow (Buster was his name) what he was doing at the club. Buster replied that stuffed animals didn’t usually like to dance, so he often went to the club by himself. I explained that humans love to dance, and that there were many opportunities in through the Stuffed Zoo in the Real World to meet excellent dancers. Buster immediately signed on, and POOF, he and his two cousins were back with me in the Stuffed Zoo.
