Owl Eats Harry Potter - V:Mission 2 Episode 20
Dinu sits upright continuing his deep chuckle. “You did a nice job on the bandage, I think? What do you say, Nicu…does it become me?”
“I think it’s a definite improvement. Maybe you should wear it all the time?” Nicu banters back.
I feel my blood pressure rising. After all, I practically killed myself hauling Dinu’s carcass back to the truck. Don’t even mention the agony and concern I was feeling the whole time. Just as I’m about to share my own opinion about how Dinu looks I hear a familiar and somewhat muffled voice coming from the Stuffocator.
I walk over and unzip the duffle bag one more time. Then I hear Finn’s voice clearly. He’s also laughing.
“Hi V,” he says in a bright and cheery voice. “Congratulations, you are now an official Acquisitioner! … assuming you still want the job of course. This was my little initiation ceremony. Please don’t be mad at Dinu; he was just doing what I asked. However, I will admit privately that I knew he would relish the job.
It’s amazing what a little ketchup will do to your mind on a dark night in an unfamiliar location, wouldn’t you say?” Finn asks, clearly proud of his little plan.
“By the way the stuffed owl looks great. Nice job! I wasn’t expecting that you’d actually stuffocate your owl. Even Karl didn’t get her stuffed animal on her initiation mission…smooth,” Finn says with admiration in his voice.
A second later Dinu has me in a huge bear hug and while still chuckling says, “I know we’ll always be good friends; you’re a great guy. Sorry about the little joke,” and then under his breath so that I canbearly hear him, ”but it sure was fun.”
“Let’s go inside and celebrate the successful stuffocation.” Nicu says.
Before we head to the house Finn’s voice emanates from the Stuffocator again saying, “V, tomorrow have Dinu drive you to the US Consul’s office. He happens to be a friend and he is going to escort you through the airport and all the way to Frankfurt. I don’t want another security guard situation to occur. That was not part of the plan. Sorry about the damage Dinu.”
“It was worth it! Any time you need my help just let me know.” Dinu says. “I’m hungry Finn time to hang up.”
“Okay old friend…and thanks again!” said Finn and then he was gone.
I could also feel my anger melting away with each chuckle and the warmth of the new friends I am in the process of making. I love being an Acquisitioner!
