Owl Eats Harry Potter - V:Mission 2 Episode 11
We clearly have been sleeping quite some time. As the world comes back into focus I can’t figure out where I am. There’s a river and trees and shreds of paper…
“Hey V!” Dinu calls, accompanied by a loud chuckle. “I think we just found our first owl.” and he points up into the tree.
A quick memory flood brings me back to the present and I realize that the object in the owl’s left talon looks suspiciously like remnants of my Harry Potter book. Looking back at the ground I see the paper shreds and the tattered remains of a mouse tail.
I start to fit the pieces together. The owl evidently mistook the fake mouse bookmark for a real mouse. It captured its prey shredding the book in the process. Either out of frustration or fear the owl bolted to the safety of the tree screeching on the way and startling Dinu and me awake.
“I guess it’s time for us to get to the barn.” Dinu says.
“Yes, I guess…but that makes me really mad. That’s the third time I’ve tried to read that book. The last time my ex-girlfriend decided to keep it as a parting gift. I think I’ve been cursed.
Let’s go.”
