Owl Eats Harry Potter - V:Mission 2 Episode 3
Four hours of staring at my Sudoku book doesn’t seem to clear my brain. Fortunately, our plane is finally ready to board…a quick flight from LA to Frankfurt. Then a little side jump and I’ll be in Bucharest, Romania…within spitting distance of European Barn Owl Territory.
The only benefit of getting to the airport early was that the ticket agent took pity on me and gave me an exit row seat. I pour myself into my seat and arrange my things to take a long nap, punctuated by attempts at food and the re-hydration cart. Then I play the “wait to see who your seat mates are” game.
The winners of the game end up with tiny-framed, baby-less, non-talkative people to sit next to. Or the grand prize winners end up with an empty seat next to them.
Just before the plane shuts it’s door a middle-aged gentleman of average builds rushes on to the plane and sits next to me. Okay, I’m not a grand prize winner but I still have an exit row and Mr. Average for a travel mate.
